I was born in The Netherlands and moved to BC in 1978 just as soon as I finished my university degree.  After a few years of teaching, the art of selling Real Estate seemed more appealing and now after over 30 years, I look back at this stage in my life as a good decision.

Most of my business comes from referrals and it is extremely important to me that my clients are 100% happy with the service and advice I give them. Having the advantage of speaking several languages has helped me over the years as well.

As a first generation Vancouverite, I was born and raised in the most beautiful city in the world, Vancouver, BC. Even as a young boy, when my parents first went through the process of selling their home in which I was raised, I was fascinated with the entire transaction from start to finish. Perhaps unbelievably, from that day I knew that real estate was in my blood.

With a passion for people, I understand the importance of building strong relationships with clients, based on honesty, integrity, and mutual respect. I think what sets me apart from the rest is my talent for creating unique and creative marketing ideas combined with the latest technology to employ in my strategic marketing plan.

I sold 24 homes in my first year of selling real estate and was consequently awarded the RE/MAX "Rookie of the Year" award! That year,  I was also welcomed into the prestigious "MLS Medallion Club" which represents the top 10% of agents in sales. I am incredibly organized and goal orientated, ready to exceed your expectations.

I have the honour of working alongside my dad Adriaan and Ryan. I am lucky to have such an amazing mentor and loving father to share this wonderful career with. Each day in Real Estate is a new experience and gaining the trust of my clients for life is my first priority.

Working in both Vancouver East and West, it has been amazing to see the unique distinction between each neighborhood and their markets. While Adriaan and Ryan tend to do more of their business on the West side, personally I am drawn to East Vancouver.


With many of my peers purchasing their first homes I have ample experience with the process for first time buyers. I have lived in the Commercial Drive area for just shy of a decade now and have absolutely no plans on leaving. It is so beautiful and eclectic here I just love living in a city so culturally diverse and welcoming.



Most commonly, we like to meet our clients face to face to establish a relationship. The first casual meeting is a perfect opportunity for the prospected client to learn a bit about who we are, how we work and what to expect in the process of buying or selling.

Our Buyers like the fact that we can communicate with them on a daily basis, informing them of the new listings and changes in the market.  Our Sellers appreciate the open and honest feedback that we relay them from perspective Buyers.  We make it a top priority to educate our clients on all aspects of the Real Estate market inventory, trends, new and upcoming developments, and investment strategies.
